Most of what we do is full garden design: a whole space taken from tired, awkward or unusable to something you actually want to walk out into. It's the work we post most often, and it's where over 20 years experience shows.
A full design starts with what the space has to do — where the sun sits through the day, where you'd want to eat, where the kids or the dog need grass, what you'd rather not look at. From there it's levels and drainage, which is where most gardens are won or lost, particularly on the sloping plots that are so common around Huddersfield and the Pennine villages. Retaining walls and steps make a slope usable instead of wasted.
Then the build: paving laid to falls, turf or artificial grass on properly prepared ground, fencing, raised beds and planting areas. One team does all of it, so nothing falls between trades and the details line through.
We don't leave until it's pin point perfect. It's all about the finish.
